Earlier, it was considered that poultry and mammals meat are the major sources of protein but now the scientist have begun to explore alternative sources of protein like edible insects.Why insect should be the future superfood?
It is estimated that by 2050 world population would be more than 9 billion and the conventional sources of protein may fall short of the demand so the alternative source for the same is the need of the hour and the option of edible insects is a worthwhile idea.
